The Driving License Examination Center in the Nabatieh Governorate was launched and marked an exceptional achievement, as it was established in line with the conditions set out in the Traffic Law for obtaining a driving license, including the requirement to conduct driving tests under the supervision of experts and monitors. Consequently, at a time when the Nabatieh region and the South were suffering from devastating Israeli aggression, the launch of the Nabatieh Examination Center represented a notable and significant step.

The President of the Driving Schools Syndicate in Lebanon, Mr. Hussein Haidar, accompanied by his Vice President Hassan Al-Mousawi and the Syndicate’s Secretary-General Nizar Ayoub, inspected the Driving License Examination Center in the Nabatieh Governorate, located at the southern entrance of the town of Arab Salim, where he was briefed by monitors and trainers on the progress of the examinations being conducted there.

Haidar said following the tour: “The Driving Schools Syndicate has worked to equip the driving license examination center, with all its facilities, at its own expense. The aim is to ensure proper and sound examinations, enable correct learning, and promote knowledge of the Traffic Law and road safety in both its theoretical and practical aspects. Today, examinations are being conducted here in a civilized and serious manner, as in any country in the world, under the supervision of a team delegated by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities.”

Haidar extended his thanks to the Minister of Interior, Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Hajjar, and to the Head of the Vehicle and Mechanisms Registration Authority, Brigadier General Nazih Qobrosli, for their close follow-up and strong support reflected in the outstanding and transparent performance witnessed at vehicle registration departments, especially at the central authority (Nafaa), where priority is given to facilitating citizens’ affairs and adopting automation at all stages of transaction processing—a tremendous effort. He also thanked them for their continuous support in completing the training center in the Nabatieh Governorate.
